NAUNP Objectives

To set agenda for facilitation, promotion of standards and quality assurance in Nursing Education

To facilitate advancement of nursing knowledge through research and effective dissemination of research findings
3
To promote intellectual and human resource development for the advancement of nursing education, nursing research and nursing practice in Nigeria
4
To contribute to policy development for nursing practice, health advancement and health care provision in the country
5
To promote production of educational materials for use in nursing educational institutions in Nigeria
6
To contribute to advancement of Nursing Practice in Nigeria
7
To collaborate with other government agencies and non governmental organizations that share similar objectives with the Association in and outside Nigeria.

To hold an annual conference to monitor trends and set research agenda for the progress of nursing in Nigeria.
9
To publish the African Journal of Nursing Studies and Practice thrice a year.
