Mrs Taiwo Dosunmu
Mrs. Taiwo Dosunmu is a registered nurse/midwife, a dedicated researcher, and a lecturer at the Faculty of Nursing Science at Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State. With a specialty in Maternal and Child Health, she combines her clinical expertise and academic role to contribute significantly to the field. Her extensive experience and knowledge make her an invaluable asset to the university and the wider healthcare community.
Her research interests are centered on the health and well-being of women and children, with a particular focus on genetics. She has a keen interest in Newborn Screening for Sickle Cell Anemia and Reproductive Health. Through her research, she aims to develop and implement strategies that address the health challenges faced by these populations, contributing to better health outcomes and advancing the field of nursing science.
Her long-term research goals are driven by a commitment to improving the care of pregnant women, ensuring safe motherhood, and enhancing the quality of life for children living with Sickle Cell Anemia.
